My husband and I have eaten here many times and really love the calzones. Tonight (11/21 ) was the exception. When they arrived at the table they were grossly over done and burnt. We mentioned our dissatisfaction to the wait staff and asked if the owner was there. She said yes but was busy talking to someone. I know we could have asked for them to be redone but you know what happens when you do that ! I am sorry to say we won't return for awhile.
It is as wrong!
I then had the combo appetizer.
It's great that they offer gluten free choices. The kids meals are small for my six year olds. Very tasty food and good service
I've eaten here a few times and come back for the meat sauce and awesome desserts. Staff is normally pleasant. I was greated quickly, sat comfortably and my order taken immediately. Great. My salad came out right away. My entree was presented to me as soon as I finished my salad. The chicken in my chicken parmesan was a little overcooked but edible and once again the meat sauce fantastic. But here is where everything goes to pieces. My waitress completely forgot about me. No check to see if my food was good, no refill on ice tea, nothing. I watched her pass by over and over without looking my way. She even sat a couple at the next table but she apparently didn't hear my "excuse me.". Finally I had to loudly ask another waitress for a box. My waitress came with a box and a check and nicely apologized but never asked me about dessert while she carried the dessert tray to everyone else. She then asked if I would like a tea to go. This would have redeemed her except she didn't bring it to go but refilled my glass..... And with SWEET tea when I had been drinking unsweetened. Goes to show that a woman dining alone is not important here. I will think twice about returning.
A few place were mentioned, Gondolier, Cosa Nostra and Iberia’s.
For dinner I had the chicken parmigiana with a side of pasta and marinara.
That explains it.
Sweet tea is amazing, chicken salad was deliciouw, garlic knots looked fresh, prnne pasta taste as well. Food came at a timely manner, waitress was nice and patient. Over all 10 out of 10. No conplaints.. will return!
I would say that Cosa Nostra has an identity crisis, not being able to decide if it’s an Italian restaurant or a moroccan one.
I asked my waitress if the owner or the chef was Indian and she told me moroccan.
Pass on this appetizer!
I happened by Cosa Nostra and it wasn’t what I expected.
The marinara was average, the pasta was cooked perfectly al dente’, but the chicken...the chicken was huge but tasted funny. I realized the taste was curry I believe.
I say pass on this one if Italian is what you want!
I’m new to Greeneville and had an urge for some good Italian food.
The salad was good, basic but good.
I have never in 60 teas had curri d chicken parmigiana and didn’t enjoy it tonite either!
The fries, onion rings and chicken tenders were ok, but the mozzarella sticks were pasty and nasty, the mushrooms were from any frozen food section.
