Great hike! Could be strenuous for some. Falls are beautiful. We less water is coming down the pool at the bottom is great for catching salamanders. Take a hiking stick.
This trail is great for an adult beginner or an experienced hiker just looking to relax. The trail does get a little steep in some areas, but there are many places to stop and take pictures of the river that's a adjacent to the trail. Prepare to get muddy as the river has tiny off shoots that cross the path and the path actually does cross the river in one spot. The actual landing at the water fall is a great place to relax. I don't think it would be good for hanging a hammock, but it's awesome for spreading a blanket over a large rock and having a picnic. This trail is dog friendly as long as they're on a leash. Just keep in mind that you may have to carry them across the river. There is a large gravel parking area at the base of the trail, so plenty of parking.
Good moderately easy hike with a beautiful destination.
Great hike with lots of access to the creek all the way up!
