Only great thing about the place was my waffles and the amazingly patient and friendly receptionist that had to check in all of us separately at 11:30 pm.
The hotel room was big enough to not feel cramped. It was very clean in there including inside the microwave and the shower. Customer service was awesome. Lee at the front desk was really helpful. The continental breakfast was off the chain. Biscuits and gravy, make-your-own-waffle station, hardboiled eggs, cereal, apple juice and orange juice among several other options. Overall it was a really good experience totally worthy of four stars.
Very friendly and very clean and cozy! I always stay here when I am in town to visit my son and grandchildren...wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else.
Well I didn't expect grade A when I picked smoking for my room, but this was a bit ridiculous. Quilts were grungy looking so not risking bugs that was discarded quickly. Was surprised to see a $200/night room have a tube tv, but that's fine since I'm working most of the day. What really irked me and pushed my review needs was while trying to set-up for morning coffee I noticed that both the interior and exterior of the pot was filthy so cleaned that myself before proceeding to find that hidden under nasty decaf was an empty packet for regular already opened and used......
Nice place for the price. Our room had a strong smell of bleach when we checked in. It finally dissipated. Very quiet. Only complaint was the breakfast. The biscuits were hard as rocks....no way you could eat them!!
I stayed here on the first night of my first overnight business trip for my new job. The staff was so friendly and accommodating that my 2am check in was actually relaxing the street of the day some. They gave me a room that was pure heaven. The bed was firm but still felt like curling up in a cloud. There was plenty of space to work and the bathroom vanity easily held my moderate grooming supply. I had been concerned about oversleeping, so the clerk happily came and banged on my door when I did in fact miss the wake-up call (and all three alarms). I jumped into the shower to find a stark relief to my sore muscles and joints because it was easily steaming hot and had a wonderfully massage level pressure. I was asked by my next meeting that day if I would stay there again, and due to unexpected situations that kept me in the area longer, I went right back to this wonderful place that night. I had nearly the exact same experience, minus one hiccup. They tried to give me the same room, but somehow the bar lock had gotten flipped by housekeeping and we couldn't open the door. I was given an upstairs room instead and an additional discount (on top of my AAA) for my troubles. They are clean, kind, friendly, and everyone seems to go the extra mile. FANTASTIC PLACE!
