While having "everything" you may need for a great college experience is important, I can attest that it's the people at Tusculum that will make ensure the experience is worthwhile. For those who haven't had a positive experience, you didn't give it a fair shake. For every disgruntled student, there are 10 others who loved their professors. For every athlete that left or quit, there are 10 others who stuck it out and will return to participate in alumni games. For every person who stayed in their dorm room and passed on their friends' plans for the day, there are 10 others who made the most of their time at Tusculum, doing anything and everything and trying not to miss a single thing. At Tusculum College, they suggest that you "pioneer" your future. It's a verb...act on it. And as always, Pioneer Up!

As a person who has spent time at several small institutions (whether as a student, an employee, or somewhere in between), I can honestly say that Tusculum College exudes all of the best aspects of small town college life. Need to make a late night Cook Out run? No problem. Want to join a club on campus and meet people with common interests? No problem. Need a great cup of coffee to start your day that's merely walking distance from the dorms? No problem. Want to explore entertainment venues, shopping areas, and amusement sites without driving for hours and hours to do so? No problem. Need a small professor to student ratio for a better educational experience? No problem. Want to experience a college football tailgate and paint up for the big game? Again, no problem. Surely, by now, you get the idea. Tusculum College has everything you need and more to have a one-of-a-kind college experience.

Tusculum College has been my best experience ever. I started out at Pellissippi State where I struggled some here and there on the larger course load (4 courses for 15 weeks) and by the time I hit the 11th week I was over it. My advisor actually recommended Tusculum to me because that is where her daughters boyfriend went. She said he was in the exact same situation I was in. I started TC with a horrible GPA because I got lost in community college. I am now graduating with a GPA over 3.0. During my time at TC I have met a lot of great people. I have not ran into one faculty or staff member that has been rude. Everyone was always very helpful and every professor would give out their cell phone to their students. I might add I did attend the GPS location here in Knoxville and not the main campus. However, everyone I ever spoke with at the main location was always very nice. The new layout x amount of courses during the new 8 week block I think works better than the 5 week courses personally. I would recommend any and everyone to TC. At least give it a shot. Class of 2016 Business Management:HRM

I graduated from TC last year and really enjoyed my time going to school there. It was always really nice to walk to class and have the pretty mountains on the horizon. I played Volleyball and was a part of Student Government for a few years, which helped me make new friends, since it is a pretty small college. I will be a Pioneer for life!!!

Tusculum is a special place to me. I began as a student in 2007, and have been affiliated with the college in some fashion ever since. Over the last decade the thing that stands out the most are the people. There a faculty and staff members who just care so much about the students they come into contact with. As a student, if you will take advantage of the opportunities given through those relationships, there is such a wide range of experiences available. The practicum hours and internships I completed for my degree ended up changing the direction of my career. It was all because there were faculty and staff that were willing to mentor me and invest in me. I think the best way to describe my experience is that I found a school that was the best fit for me.

One of the most beautiful small campuses in the Southeastern portion of the United States. Faculty, Staff, and Coaches are really helpful and most know you by name. I would recommend anyone looking for a high-quality Private school education to consider Tusculum.
