Management needs to fill the empty stores, as there are WAY TOO MANY. I suggest a 24-hr gym for starters! And from what I've read in the paper when stores there have closed and/or moved, make and keep the rent at a realistic level for Greeneville, Tennessee.
Burks is awesome, I love too eat at the restaurants in the commons. I hope new stores come in to empty locations, just lost our JCPenny store I'm hoping the space is filled soon.
So disappointed that they closed JC Penney and Rue 21, leaving us with so few choices in Greeneville, TN. However, the Chinese restaurant had great fresh dishes, Burkes lots of deals, the Mexican Restaurant is delicious, Belk for the more refined taste, and Kmart had most everything else!! There are other places there, too. Wedding\formal, Italian food, insurance, health vitamin place, and more.
This is basically Greenevilles closest equivalent to an outdoor mall. Some of the stores change pretty regularly and there are multiple restaurant choices to accommodate what you are feeling hungry for. The only inconvenience is that the selection of actual shopping locations has been dwindling over the years and more specialty shops have moved in.
Let's be honest, there is not much to do here in Greenville. So somehow this shopping always makes it on the list when you ask people what they want to do. That's the only thing it has going for it, besides Burke's outlet. Burke's is cool. (Not personal opinion)
